"Accredited investor" requirements - US Investors

To qualify to invest in private oil and gas offerings, such as direct drilling programs or working interests, you typically must meet SEC "accredited investor" requirements. These regulations are in place because these direct-participation ventures carry high risks, exempting them from standard public market registrations
Financial Requirements: To attain qualified status, an individual must meet at least one of the following criteria: Income: An annual income exceeding \(\$200,000\) in each of the last two years (or \(\$300,000\) combined with a spouse), with a reasonable expectation of reaching the same level in the current year.
Net Worth Test: A net worth exceeding \(\$1,000,000\), excluding the value of your primary residence.
Professional Credentials: Holding specific licenses or certifications in good standing, such as a Series 7, 65, or 82 license.

      * We refer to this requirement/qualification in point 8 of our business terms, which you confirm to meet when signing the PA.
